Car
If you are traveling by car, drive to the town of Ayni, which serves as the primary access point to Yagnob Valley. From Ayni, take the road heading towards the Yagnob Valley. Follow the road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which leads you closer to Alauddin Lake. Continue for another 10 kilometers. You will notice signs pointing towards Alauddin Lake. Follow these signs until you reach the lake area, where parking is available.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a shared taxi or minibus from Dushanbe to Ayni. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Ayni, you can either hitch a ride with local drivers or take another shared taxi heading towards Yagnob Valley. Make sure to specify 'Alauddin Lake' to the driver. The local fare should not exceed 20 TJS (Tajik Somoni) for the last leg of the journey, and it will take about 30-40 minutes to reach the lake area from Ayni.
