    If you are traveling by car, start from Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan. Take the M34 highway heading northeast towards the town of Varzob. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the Varzob River. Continue on the M34 until you arrive at the junction with the A373 road. Turn left onto A373 and follow it for about 60 kilometers until you reach the town of Penjikent. From Penjikent, follow the signs towards the Yaghnob Valley. The road will lead you through the scenic landscapes of the region. Keep in mind that the roads can be rough, and a 4WD vehicle is recommended. The final stretch to the valley may require a short hike, so be prepared for that.
