    Starting from the heart of Stone Town (for example, the Old Fort), head northeast on Pungwe Street towards the intersection with Kenyatta Road. Continue straight onto Kenyatta Road, passing by various shops and local eateries. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Mkunazini Street. Turn left onto Mkunazini Street and continue until you reach the junction with the main road, which is Nyerere Road. At this point, cross Nyerere Road and continue straight onto the footpath leading to the Maruhubi area. Follow the signs pointing towards Maruhubi Historical Sites, which will be approximately 1 kilometer ahead. Keep an eye out for local landmarks to ensure you are heading in the right direction.

    If you prefer to rent a bicycle, start from the center of Stone Town and head towards the waterfront. From the waterfront, take the road along the coast heading north. You will pass by the beautiful beaches and local markets. Continue riding for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Maruhubi area. The site will be on your left as you approach the historical sites.
