Car
From Ruaha National Park, drive north on the A104 towards Iringa. After approximately 40km, turn left onto the B6 towards Mtera. Continue on the B6 for about 100km until you reach the town of Dodoma. From Dodoma, take the B129 towards Morogoro. After about 40km, turn right onto the B129 towards Dar es Salaam. Continue on the B129 for approximately 300km until you reach Dar es Salaam. From Dar es Salaam, you can take a ferry to Mbudya Island where the Mbudya Marine Reserve is located.

From Ruaha National Park, take a bus or minibus to Iringa. Once in Iringa, you can take a bus or minibus to Dodoma. From Dodoma, there are buses or minibuses available to Dar es Salaam. In Dar es Salaam, you can take a ferry to Mbudya Island where the Mbudya Marine Reserve is located.
