Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Iringa, head south on the main road (Titi Street) towards the outskirts of the town. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for local signage that points towards New Ruaha International Lodge. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road; take the left path at the fork. The lodge will be on your left-hand side, easily recognizable by its signage.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Iringa. Start from the city center and take Titi Street south. Cycle for about 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for shops and eateries. When you reach the fork in the road, take the left path. New Ruaha International Lodge will be approximately 100 meters further on your left. The ride should take around 10 minutes depending on your cycling speed.

• Public Transport (Daladala)

  To reach New Ruaha International Lodge using public transport, look for a daladala (shared minibus) heading towards the outskirts of Iringa. Board the daladala from the main bus station in the city center. Inform the conductor that you are going to Titi Street. Once you arrive at the stop closest to Titi Street (ask the locals for directions), walk down Titi Street for about 800 meters. The lodge will be on your left-hand side. The entire journey may take around 30-40 minutes, depending on the waiting time for the daladala.
