    If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. Head northwest on the main road (Tarangire Road) towards Karatu town. After approximately 15 km, you will reach the junction with the main road leading to Karatu. Turn left onto the road marked MM39. Continue driving for about 5 km. You will see a sign for 'Elephant Caves' on your left. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the parking area for the attraction.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a dala-dala (minibus) from the main entrance of Lake Manyara National Park heading towards Karatu. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for the Elephant Caves. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once at the junction, walk approximately 1 km along the marked road (MM39) until you see the sign for 'Elephant Caves' on your left. Follow the path to the attraction.
