Car
From the center of Karatu, head southwest on the A7 road towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Drive approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Plantation Lodge. Turn left onto the road heading towards MJCM+QRF. Continue for about 5 kilometers, following the signs for the Plantation Lodge. The lodge will be on your right.

Public Transportation
From Karatu, take a daladala (shared minibus) heading towards Ngorongoro Crater. Tell the driver you want to get off at the Plantation Lodge stop. This journey typically takes around 30-40 minutes. The fare is approximately 2,000 TZS. Once you get off, walk about 1 kilometer in the direction indicated by any local signs, or ask locals for directions to the lodge.

If you prefer a more private option, you can hire a taxi from Karatu. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and usually costs around 30,000 to 50,000 TZS depending on your negotiation skills. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. The driver will be familiar with the Plantation Lodge location.
