Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Karatu from your location in the Ngorongoro Highlands. Follow the main road (B1) that connects the various towns in the area. Once you reach Karatu, look for signs directing you to Gibbs Farm Road. Turn onto Gibbs Farm Road and continue for approximately 5 km. Tloma Lodge will be on your left-hand side. Be mindful of the unpaved sections of the road leading to the lodge, and drive cautiously.

To reach Tloma Lodge via public transportation, take a daladala (local minibus) from your current location towards Karatu. You will need to inform the driver that you are going to Gibbs Farm Road. The daladala ride typically costs around 1,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). Once you arrive in Karatu, you may need to hire a taxi to take you the remaining distance to Tloma Lodge on Gibbs Farm Road, which is about 5 km away. Taxi fares can vary, but expect to pay around 5,000 to 10,000 TZS.
