If you're traveling by car from anywhere in the Masai Steppe, make your way towards the town of Namanga, which is approximately 40 kilometers away. From Namanga, take the A104 road heading west towards the Amboseli National Park. This route is well-marked, and you will drive through beautiful landscapes. The park entrance is located at the Oloitokitok gate, approximately 40 kilometers from the main road. Ensure you have your park entry fees ready; the cost is approximately $60 per adult.

Public Transportation (Matatu)
To travel by public transportation, head to the nearest matatu (shared taxi) station in your area. Catch a matatu heading to Namanga (the fare is about $2). Upon arrival at Namanga, you will need to find another matatu or a taxi that can take you to the Amboseli National Park entrance. The fare for this segment may be about $5 to $10 depending on the type of vehicle and number of passengers.
