From the Mikumi National Park entrance, continue driving for approximately 5 kilometers until you see the sign for Camp Bastian Mikumi on your left. Turn off the A7 road and follow the dirt path leading to the camp. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for unpaved roads as the last stretch may be bumpy.

To reach Camp Bastian Mikumi via public transportation, first take a bus or a dala-dala (shared taxi) from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi village. The journey typically takes around 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Mikumi, look for a taxi or a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Camp Bastian, which is about 5 kilometers from the village center. Agree on a fare before starting your journey; expect to pay around 10,000 to 15,000 TZS.
