Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving in Mikumi National Park, head towards the eastern side of the park. From the Mikumi Main Entrance, follow the main road towards the Mikumi Hill area. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Eagle View Lodge, which is situated on a hilltop. The lodge's GPS coordinates are approximately -7.4154 latitude and 37.0087 longitude. The drive should take around 25 minutes from the entrance, depending on traffic and road conditions.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Eagle View Lodge using public transportation, first take a daladala (shared minibus) from the Mikumi town center towards the Mikumi National Park entrance. Once you arrive at the entrance, you can either hike or arrange a taxi to take you to the lodge, which is about 7 km away. Be sure to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver upfront. The taxi ride should cost around 10,000 to 20,000 TZS depending on the negotiation.

  • Walking
