Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Mikumi town and head east on the A7 road. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Mikumi National Park. Pay the park entrance fee, which is around $20 per person for foreign tourists. Once inside the park, follow the signs towards the Green Belt area. Angalia Tented Camp is located within the park, approximately 10 kilometers from the entrance. Look for directional signs or ask park staff for assistance to reach the camp.

Public Transportation
To reach Angalia Tented Camp using public transportation, you can take a bus from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi. The bus journey takes about 4 to 5 hours. Once you arrive in Mikumi, hire a local taxi or use a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to get to the entrance of Mikumi National Park. The taxi ride should cost around $10 to $15. After entering the park, you will need to pay the entrance fee, which is approximately $20 per person for foreign tourists. From the entrance, follow the signs towards the Green Belt area, where Angalia Tented Camp is situated about 10 kilometers inside the park.
