    If you are driving from Arusha city center, head southeast on Sokoine Road towards the Clock Tower. Continue straight to merge onto the A104 road. Follow the A104 for about 15 kilometers. You will pass through various small towns. Look for signs directing you to Tengeru. Just after passing the Tengeru market and before reaching the Tengeru Hospital, take a left onto Patandi Road. Follow this road for about 1 km, and you will find the Tengeru Cultural Tourism Program on your right.

  • Public Transportation (Matatu)

    From Arusha city center, you can take a 'matatu' (shared taxi) that goes to Tengeru. Head to the matatu station located near the clock tower and look for a matatu that has 'Tengeru' marked on it. The fare is approximately 1,000 TZS per person. The journey will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Tengeru market. From there, walk towards Patandi Road, and the Tengeru Cultural Tourism Program will be a short walk of about 1 km on your right.

  • Taxi

    For a more direct option, hire a taxi from Arusha city center. The journey to Tengeru will take approximately 30 minutes, and the fare is about 15,000 to 25,000 TZS, depending on the taxi service and negotiation. Ask the driver to take you to the Tengeru Cultural Tourism Program located on Patandi Road, just after the Tengeru market.
