Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Arusha. Head east on the A104 road towards Moshi. Continue on the A104 until you reach the junction with the B1 road. Turn left onto B1 and follow the signs to Akheri. The MANGALIA WATERFALLS are located in Akheri. Once you're in Akheri, look for local signs indicating the direction to the waterfalls. There might be a small parking area near the entrance.

• Public Transportation

  To reach MANGALIA WATERFALLS using public transport, take a bus from Arusha to Moshi. Once in Moshi, find a bus heading to Akheri. You may need to ask locals for the best bus company or departure point, as schedules can vary. The bus ride to Akheri should take approximately 1-2 hours. Upon arrival in Akheri, ask the locals for directions to MANGALIA WATERFALLS, as it is a known spot in the area. Be prepared for a short walk to the waterfalls from the bus drop-off point.

  Once you reach Akheri, the final stretch to MANGALIA WATERFALLS may require some walking, depending on where you are dropped off. Local guides can assist you for a small fee, and it’s advisable to engage one for a better experience and to ensure you find the best paths to the waterfalls. Bring comfortable walking shoes, as the terrain might be uneven.
