Bicycle
From the center of Tanga, head southwest on Bongo Street towards the Tanga Coastal Strip. Continue onto the main road leading out of Tanga towards the Mabokweni area. After approximately 15 km of cycling, you will reach the village of Mabokweni. Look for signs directing you to the Sulphur Hot Spring, which is located at coordinates X365+PQ. The hot spring is about 1 km from the main road, so follow the local paths to reach the spring.
Walking
If you are starting from the Tanga city center, walk to the Tanga bus station and take a local bus heading towards Mabokweni. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop near the hot springs. After getting off, walk approximately 1 km south on a dirt path that leads directly to the Sulphur Hot Spring, following any signs you may see along the way.
Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
From your location in Tanga, find a local Boda Boda (motorbike taxi) driver and negotiate a fare to take you to the Sulphur Hot Spring in Mabokweni Village. The trip will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to show the driver the coordinates or tell them you want to go to Mabokweni Village. Once you reach the village, ask to be dropped off near the hot spring, which is about 1 km from the main road.
