    If you are starting from the Tanga Central Market, head southeast on Saba Saba Street towards Jamhuri Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Independence Avenue. Turn right onto Independence Avenue and walk for approximately 300 meters. The URITHI Tanga Museum will be on your left, across from the Tanga City Council.

    From the Tanga Bus Station, take the road heading north towards Kange Street. Turn left onto Kange Street and cycle straight until you reach the junction with Mkwakwani Road. Turn right onto Mkwakwani Road and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer until you intersect with Independence Avenue. Turn left onto Independence Avenue, and after about 200 meters, the URITHI Tanga Museum will be on your right.

  • Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)

    If you are near the Tanga Railway Station, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi). Tell the driver you want to go to URITHI Tanga Museum on Independence Avenue. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right in front of the museum.
