If you're driving from the town of Moshi, head south on the A23 road. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at the village of Mweka. Take a left onto the B1 road towards Taveta, Kenya. After approximately 20 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Lake Chala. The trailhead is located at MPP7+H4G, Chala, Kenya. Make sure to have a map or GPS, as the final stretch may have unmarked paths.

Start by taking a daladala (shared minibus) from Moshi to Taveta. The fare is usually around 3000 TZS and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
