Turn left onto the B2 road and follow it for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs to Mzambarauni and follow the road until you reach Mtende Beach. Be prepared to pay a 2000 TZS conservation charge upon arrival.
Public Transportation
To reach Mtende Beach via public transportation, take a dala-dala (shared minibus) from Stone Town to Jambiani. Board the dala-dala at the main station near the old fort. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Jambiani stop. From there, you can either walk towards Mtende Beach (about a 30-minute walk) or find a local taxi to take you the remaining distance. Ensure you have some local currency to pay for the dala-dala fare and any taxi if needed.
