Getting There

    From the center of Zanzibar City, head south towards the coast. Start at the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), and walk down to the waterfront. Follow the coastline south along the beach promenade for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Bwejuu Road. Turn left onto Bwejuu Road and continue straight until you reach Kizimkazi Dimbani. The walk will take about 1-1.5 hours, and you will enjoy scenic views of the Indian Ocean along the way.

  • Dala Dala (Local Minibus)

    From the center of Zanzibar City, make your way to the Dala Dala station located near the Old Fort. Look for the Dala Dala heading to Kizimkazi. The fare is very affordable, usually around 1,000 TZS. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kizimkazi, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the main square near the beach, which is close to your destination.

    If you prefer a more active option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Zanzibar City. Head south towards the coast, following the same route as if you were walking. The journey to Kizimkazi Dimbani will take around 30-45 minutes by bike. Ensure you stay on the main roads and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Once you arrive, you can return the bicycle at a rental shop in Kizimkazi.
