Getting There

Walking
From the center of Zanzibar City, head northwest toward the Old Fort. Once at the Old Fort, continue along the coast on the seafront road (Mizingani Road) for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Old Bagamoyo Road. Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers. The Saadani Safari Lodge will be on your left, near the beach.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Stone Town. Start your journey by cycling towards the Old Fort and follow Mizingani Road along the coast. After about 2 kilometers, reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Old Bagamoyo Road. Cycle straight for about 15 kilometers, enjoying the scenery. The Saadani Safari Lodge will be located on your left as you approach the beach.

Public Transport (Dalla Dalla)
Catch a Dalla Dalla (shared minibus) from the main bus terminal in Zanzibar City, heading towards Bagamoyo. The fare is usually around 1,500 TZS. Inform the driver that you want to go to Saadani Safari Lodge. Once you arrive at the stop closest to the lodge, you may have to walk a short distance (about 1 kilometer) down Old Bagamoyo Road to reach the lodge.
