    Start at the Forodhani Gardens, a popular gathering place near the coast in Stone Town. From the gardens, head east along the waterfront (Ocean Road) until you reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Road. Turn left onto Benjamin Mkapa Road. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters. You will see the Museum of Natural History, located in Karume House on your left, marked by a sign. The museum is a short walk from the central area of Stone Town, making it an easy destination to reach on foot.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Old Fort of Zanzibar. Head south on the street towards Mkunazini Street. Turn left onto Mkunazini Street, then right onto the main road until you reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Road. Turn left onto Benjamin Mkapa Road and cycle for about 1 kilometer. The Museum of Natural History will be on your left after passing several local shops and cafes.
