Walking
From the center of Zanzibar City, head towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) located near the coast. Once you reach the Old Fort, continue walking along the seafront road (Mizingani Rd) heading north. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Stone Town Market on Market Street, just a short walk inland from the coast.

If you are starting from Forodhani Gardens, exit the gardens and walk towards the intersection with Mizingani Rd. Turn left onto Mizingani Rd and continue walking north. After approximately 400 meters, turn right onto Market Street. The Stone Town Market will be on your left after a short walk.

From the main harbor area where ferries arrive, walk straight towards the Old Fort. Once you reach the Old Fort, take a right and walk along the coast until you reach Mizingani Rd. Turn left onto Mizingani Rd, and continue walking until you reach Market Street. Turn right onto Market Street, and you will find Stone Town Market a short distance ahead.
