From Chattanooga Riverfront, head northeast on Riverfront Pkwy toward E 5th St. Continue on Riverfront Pkwy for about 1 mile. Merge onto I-24 E via the ramp to Knoxville. After approximately 3 miles, take exit 185 for US-27 N toward I-75 N. Continue on US-27 N for about 4 miles. Take the exit toward TN-153 N. Merge onto TN-153 N, and then take the exit toward Shallowford Rd. Merge onto Shallowford Rd and continue for about 1 mile. Finally, turn right onto Cromwell Rd, and the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum will be on your left at 4119 Cromwell Rd. Parking is available on-site.
