If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Chattanooga Valley and head south on Main Street. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 153. Turn right onto Highway 153 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. Take the exit onto I-75 N toward Knoxville. After about 3 miles, take exit 4A for I-24 E toward Chattanooga. Continue on I-24 E for 2 miles, then take exit 185 for Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and follow it for 1 mile. The Chattanooga Historical Society will be on your right at the intersection with East 3rd Street. Note that parking may have a fee depending on the area.

For public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Chattanooga Valley. Board the bus that travels towards downtown Chattanooga, typically the Route 4 or 9. The fare is approximately $1.50. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Chattanooga Bus Station. From there, transfer to a bus that heads towards Broad Street, which will take another 15 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Broad Street and East 3rd Street. The Chattanooga Historical Society will be a short walk from there, located at the corner. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance to avoid long wait times.
