Start at the Chattanooga Downtown Station located at 1617 Wilcox Blvd. Take the CARTA bus route 4 (East Brainerd) towards East Brainerd. You will travel approximately 5 miles. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Lee Highway & Shallowford Road stop. From there, walk east along Lee Highway for about 0.5 miles. The Silverdale Confederate Cemetery will be on your left at 7710 Lee Hwy.

If you are near the Chattanooga Riverwalk, start at the Tennessee Aquarium and head north on the Riverwalk. Follow the path until you reach the Walnut Street Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue onto River Street. Turn right onto Broad Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Lee Highway. Turn left on Lee Highway and continue walking for about 2 miles. The Silverdale Confederate Cemetery will be on your right at 7710 Lee Hwy.
