From the center of Fall Creek Falls State Park, head southwest on the main park road towards the entrance of the park. After approximately 3 miles, take a right turn onto Greeter Falls Road. Continue straight for about 2.5 miles. The Savage Gulf State Park (West Trailhead - Greeter Falls) will be on your left at 550 Greeter Falls Road, Altamont, TN 37301.

Begin at the Fall Creek Falls State Park Visitor Center. Walk to the nearest bus stop located at the entrance of the park. Take the public transit bus heading towards Altamont. Get off at the stop closest to Greeter Falls Road. From there, it is about a 1-mile walk east along Greeter Falls Road to reach the Savage Gulf State Park (West Trailhead - Greeter Falls) at 550 Greeter Falls Road.
