Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center located at 920 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. From here, head east on the Parkway (US-441) towards traffic light #3. At traffic light #3, turn left onto Historic Nature Trail. Continue walking straight, following the signs towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance. Once you reach the park entrance, look for the Baskins Creek Trailhead on your left. The trailhead is located at the end of Baskins Creek Trail, which is marked by a sign. The trail is approximately 1 mile long and will lead you directly to Baskins Creek Falls.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the Gatlinburg Trolley, which has a stop near the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. Board the trolley on the Orange route, which goes towards the National Park. Get off at the stop for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. From there, follow the same path as described in the walking instructions: head towards the Baskins Creek Trailhead located on the left side after entering the park. The trail is approximately 1 mile long and will lead you directly to Baskins Creek Falls.
