If you are driving from Beale Street, head northwest on Beale St toward S 2nd St. Continue on S 2nd St and turn left onto E Main St. Merge onto I-40 W via the ramp on the left toward Little Rock. Take exit 1B for I-240 N toward Nashville. Take exit 12A for Summer Ave. Keep right at the fork to continue on Summer Ave. The Ell Persons Historical Marker will be located on your right at Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38134. Parking may be available nearby but check local signage for any fees.
