Bus
If you are starting from downtown Galveston, head to the nearest bus stop located at 25th Street and Postoffice. Look for the Island Transit bus service that runs along Seawall Boulevard. Take the bus towards the East End and get off at the 'Seawolf Park' stop. Once you disembark, walk along Seawolf Park Blvd to reach the USS Cavalla, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Galveston. Start from the Seawall and ride east along the Seawall Boulevard bike path. Continue riding until you reach the intersection with 61st Street, then turn left. Follow 61st Street until you reach the end, then take a right onto Seawolf Park Blvd. The USS Cavalla will be on your left as you approach the park.
Walking
From the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, head east along the Seawall promenade. Continue walking along the beach until you reach 61st Street. Turn left on 61st Street and walk straight until you reach Seawolf Park Blvd. Turn right, and you will see the USS Cavalla ahead. The entire walk will take about 25 minutes.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct option, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to '100 Seawolf Park Blvd, Galveston, TX 77551'. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the USS Cavalla.
