    If you are starting from the Houston Convention Center, exit the building and head northwest on La Branch St towards Walker St. Turn right onto Walker St and continue walking until you reach Main St. Turn left onto Main St and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach McKinney St. Turn right onto McKinney St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Bagby St. The Historical Marker will be located at the corner of McKinney and Bagby St.

  • Public Transit - METRORail

    If you are near the Main Street Square METRORail station, board the Red Line train heading towards the Northline Transit Center. Get off at the next stop, which is the Theater District station. Exit the station and walk east on Rusk St until you reach Main St. Turn left onto Main St and then immediately right onto McKinney St. The Historical Marker will be at the intersection of McKinney and Bagby St, approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.
