Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Chiang Mai Old City, head north towards Tha Pae Gate. From Tha Pae Gate, walk straight down Ratchadamnoen Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Wichayanon Road. Turn left onto Wichayanon Road and continue walking for about 500 meters. Kuan U Shrine 武庙 will be on your right at 90 Wichayanon Rd, and you will easily recognize it by its traditional architecture.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    If you're starting from the Night Bazaar area, you can hire a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver to take you to Kuan U Shrine 武庙 located at 90 Wichayanon Road. The ride should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

  • Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

    From the Nimmanhaemin area, find a songthaew (red truck taxi) heading towards the Old City. Get off at Tha Pae Gate and transfer to another songthaew heading to Chang Moi. Make sure to let the driver know you want to go to Wichayanon Road. Get off when you reach 90 Wichayanon Rd; Kuan U Shrine 武庙 will be nearby. The total journey may take around 30 minutes.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in the Old City. Head north towards the Night Bazaar and continue along the main roads until you reach Wichayanon Road.
