Getting There

  • Songthaew

    From the Old City area, find a Songthaew (red truck) at any of the main roads, like Ratchadamnoen Road. Tell the driver 'Wat Suan Dok' or show them the address: 139 Suthep Rd. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB depending on the distance. The driver will drop you off right outside the temple.

  • Tuk-tuk

    You can hire a Tuk-tuk from anywhere in the city. Negotiate the fare before you start your journey. A trip to Wat Suan Dok from the Old City should cost around 100-150 THB. Just tell the driver 'Wat Suan Dok' and enjoy the ride. They will drop you off at the entrance of the temple.

  • Walking

    If you are staying near the Old City and prefer to walk, head towards Suthep Road. Walk south on Ratchadamnoen Road until you reach the intersection with Suthep Road.
