From the Old City area of Chiang Mai, head to the main road (Chang Klan Road). Look for a Songthaew stop where you see red trucks. These Songthaews are common and will announce their destinations. After approximately 20 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off near the intersection for Wat Chai Phrakiat. From there, it's a short walk of about 10 minutes to the temple.

Find a tuk-tuk in the Old City or at a popular tourist area like the Night Bazaar. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Wat Chai Phrakiat. Make sure to confirm the price before getting in.
