Songthaew
From the center of Chiang Rai, head to the main bus station near the clock tower. Look for a red songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards the Nang Lae area. The fare should be around 30-50 THB. Inform the driver that you want to go to Long Neck Karen Village. The journey will take about 30 minutes. The driver will drop you off near the entrance of the village.

If you prefer a more private ride, you can hire a tuk-tuk from your hotel or a nearby location in Chiang Rai. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 200-300 THB for a one-way trip to Long Neck Karen Village. The driver will take you directly to the village in approximately 20-30 minutes.

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Chiang Rai. Head north on Phaholyothin Road (Highway 1) towards Nang Lae. After about 10 km, turn left onto the road leading to the village. Follow the signs, and you will reach Long Neck Karen Village in approximately 1-1.5 hours. Make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen.
