The journey will take about 1 hour, and you will be dropped off near the entrance to Phra That Doi Tung.

In the city, you can hire a Tuk-tuk to take you to Phra That Doi Tung. Negotiate the price beforehand, with fares typically ranging from 200-400 THB depending on your negotiating skills and the distance. The driver will take you directly to the pagoda, which is located in Huai Khrai, Mae Sai District. The journey may take around 45 minutes.

Head to the Chiang Rai bus terminal and look for a public bus heading towards Mae Sai. Make sure to ask the staff or fellow travelers if the bus stops near Phra That Doi Tung. The fare is around 30-50 THB. Once you arrive in Mae Sai, you may need to catch a Songthaew or a Tuk-tuk for the final leg of the journey to the pagoda.
