Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Saladan Pier, head south on Route 4245. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for Kantiang Bay. Turn left at the sign for Kantiang Bay and follow the road. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will arrive at Kantiang Bay. There is parking available near the beach. Please note that if you are renting a car, ensure you have sufficient fuel as there are limited gas stations on the island.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  To reach Kantiang Bay via songthaew, go to the nearest songthaew stop, usually found near major beaches or Saladan Pier. Look for one heading towards Kantiang Bay. The fare is typically around 50-100 THB per person depending on your starting location. Inform the driver of your destination. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Kantiang Bay, the songthaew will stop at a designated area near the beach.

• Motorbike Rental

  Renting a motorbike is a popular way to explore Koh Lanta. After renting your bike, head south from Saladan Pier on Route 4245. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for Kantiang Bay. Turn left and follow the road for another 2 kilometers. Ensure you have a valid driver's license, and wear a helmet for safety. Fuel stations are available, but check levels before heading out.

• Private Taxi

  For a more comfortable and direct option, you can hire a private taxi. You can arrange one through your hotel or find them at Saladan Pier. The cost will vary based on your starting location but expect to pay around 500-800 THB for a one-way trip to Kantiang Bay. The journey typically takes 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
