If you have rented a car, start from your accommodation in Koh Tao. Drive towards the main road leading to the north of the island. Follow the signs to Sairee Beach and continue along the main road until you reach the junction at Sai Nuan Beach. Turn left at the junction and continue driving until you see a sign for Mao Bay Beach. The beach is located at 3VR2+XC7, Ko Tao, and you can park your car nearby.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
To reach Mao Bay Beach by Songthaew, find a Songthaew station in Koh Tao. You can catch a shared taxi heading towards the north of the island. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mao Bay Beach. The ride should cost around 100-150 THB per person. The driver will drop you off near the entrance to the beach, from where it is a short walk to the sandy shores.

Motorbike Taxi
For a quicker option, consider hiring a motorbike taxi. You can find these taxis around popular areas such as Sairee Beach. Negotiate the fare (usually around 100-200 THB), and the driver will take you directly to Mao Bay Beach. Make sure to wear a helmet for safety!

If you are staying near Sai Nuan Beach or any other nearby beach, you can walk to Mao Bay Beach. The walk is about 20-30 minutes along the scenic coastal path. Follow the coastline, and you will eventually arrive at Mao Bay Beach. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the walk.
