The Majestic Three Kings Monument: A Heartbeat of Chiang Mai

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to the Three Kings Monument, head towards Chiang Mai city center. From the Chiang Mai International Airport, take Route 1141 and follow the signs for the city center. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 11. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Prapokkloa Rd. Turn right onto Prapokkloa Rd and follow it for about 1 km. The monument will be on your left, with parking available nearby.

• Public Bus

  To reach the Three Kings Monument via public transportation, start by taking a local bus or songthaew (red truck) from anywhere in Chiang Mai. Look for a songthaew heading towards the Old City area. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Prapokkloa Rd stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 500 meters) to the monument, which is located at the intersection of Prapokkloa Rd and Ratchadamnoen Rd.

• Tuk Tuk

  For a more local experience, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to the Three Kings Monument. Simply negotiate a fare with the driver, and they will take you directly to Prapokkloa Rd. The cost should be around 100-150 THB depending on your starting point in Chiang Mai.

• Walking

  If you're staying nearby in the Old City area of Chiang Mai, you can easily walk to the Three Kings Monument. Simply head towards Prapokkloa Rd, which is a central street in the Old City. The monument is located at the intersection with Ratchadamnoen Rd, and you should be able to see it as you approach the area.
