Wang Kwang Waterfall: A Serene Escape into Nature

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Wang Kwang Waterfall from central Phu Kradueng, start by exiting the town on the main road towards Si Than. Follow Route 2012 for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 2118. Turn left onto Route 2118 and drive for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Wang Kwang Waterfall; you will need to turn right onto a smaller road leading directly to the waterfall. There is parking available near the entrance, but be prepared for a short walk to the falls.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Wang Kwang Waterfall using public transport, start at the local bus station in Phu Kradueng. Take a bus heading towards Si Than; the fare is usually around 30-50 THB. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Wang Kwang Waterfall, which is approximately 5 kilometers away from the falls. From there, you will need to walk or hire a local tuk-tuk to take you the rest of the way. The tuk-tuk fare should be around 100-150 THB for the short ride.

• Walking

  For the adventurous, if you are already in the vicinity of Wang Kwang Waterfall, you can hike there from Phu Kradueng National Park entrance. Follow the marked trails through the park towards the waterfall. The trail is approximately 6 kilometers long and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours of walking. Ensure you wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry sufficient water, as the trail can be rugged and steep in some sections.
