    Start your journey from the Bakau Craft Market, which is a central location in Bakau. Head north on Kairaba Avenue. After about 500 meters, you will reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to continue on Kairaba Avenue. Walk for another 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway (also known as the A1 road). Cross the highway with caution, as it's a busy road. Once across, continue straight along the road for about 200 meters until you reach the ferry terminal area. Here, you can find local boats heading towards Barra. Purchase your ticket for the ferry that will take you across the river to Barra, where Fort Bullen is located. The ferry ride usually takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Barra, exit the ferry terminal and head east along the main road for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs pointing towards Fort Bullen, which is located on a hill overlooking the water. Follow the signs and you will reach Fort Bullen.
