From Foni Bintang-Karenai, head north towards the main road (Banjul - Barra Highway). Continue on this road until you reach the junction that leads to Bakau. Turn right onto the road leading to Bakau. Follow this road until you reach Atlantic Boulevard. Ngala Lodge is located at 64 Atlantic Blvd, Bakau. Look for signage on the left side as you approach the lodge.

Locate the nearest bush taxi station in Foni Bintang-Karenai and take a bush taxi heading towards Bakau. The fare is typically around 50-100 Dalasi. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Atlantic Boulevard. From there, you may have to walk approximately 10-15 minutes along Atlantic Boulevard to reach Ngala Lodge at 64 Atlantic Blvd.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Foni Bintang-Karenai. Head towards the main road and follow the same route as the car directions. It’s about a 15-20 km ride on mostly flat terrain. Ensure to carry water and be cautious of traffic. Once you reach Bakau, navigate to Atlantic Boulevard, and Ngala Lodge will be on your left at 64 Atlantic Blvd.
