If you have access to a car, drive from Jokadu towards Banjul. Start on the main road leading south (A1) and follow signs toward Banjul. After approximately 80 km, enter Banjul. Once in Banjul, continue straight until you reach Marina Parade. The Six-gun battery is located at FC4G+8GC on Marina Parade. Parking may be limited, so look for available spots nearby.

To reach Six-gun battery using public transport, first take a 'Gele-Gele' or 'Kekeh' (shared taxi or motorbike taxi) from Jokadu to the nearest bus station that connects to Banjul. These vehicles are usually parked near the local market. Once you arrive at the bus station, find a bus heading to Banjul (you may need to ask locals for the correct bus). The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in Banjul, ask the driver to drop you off near Marina Parade. From there, you can walk to FC4G+8GC where the Six-gun battery is located.

If you find yourself in central Banjul after using public transport, you can walk to Six-gun battery from there. Head towards Marina Parade; the walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Follow the road along the coast until you see the historic site at FC4G+8GC.
