If you are traveling by car from the North Bank Region to Bijilo Monkey Park, you will first need to cross the River Gambia via the ferry at Barra. After disembarking, follow the signs towards Serrekunda. Continue on the main road (Banjul-Serekunda Highway), and after approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the town of Serrekunda. Look for a sign for Bijilo Monkey Park, which is located at C7PF+HRH. The park is situated along a dirt road that may require a short drive from the main road. Parking is available at the entrance of the park.

Public Transportation
To reach Bijilo Monkey Park using public transportation, take a shared taxi or 'tuk-tuk' from any location in the North Bank Region to the ferry terminal at Barra. Once you cross the river to Banjul, find a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Serrekunda. Inform the driver that you want to get off near Bijilo Monkey Park. You may need to walk a short distance from the main road, as the park is located a bit off the main thoroughfare. Make sure to have some Gambian Dalasi on hand, as you may incur costs for the ferry (approximately 25 Dalasi) and for the bus ride (around 50 Dalasi).
