Walking
From the center of Serrekunda, head west on Kairaba Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the Bertil Harding Highway (also known as the 'Senegambia Strip'). Turn left onto the Bertil Harding Highway. Walk along this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach a sign for Tanji. From there, you can either continue walking straight towards the beach or take a local taxi (if needed) to get closer.

If you prefer to take a taxi, find one at a local taxi stand in Serrekunda, such as near the Serrekunda Market. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Tanji Fishing Center. It's a popular destination, so they should know where it is. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
