Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the center of Same, where you can find the local market. From there, head west on Rua 1 de Maio for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida da Independência. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Rua de Dili. Turn right onto Rua de Dili and follow it for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several small shops and a school along the way. After this, you will reach a small hill. Ascend the hill, and at the top, you will see a sign pointing to Tasi Tolu. Follow the trail leading down towards the beach area, which is about 1 kilometer further down. You should arrive at Tasi Tolu beach, a beautiful landscape where you can enjoy the view of the ocean.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle at one of the local shops in Same. Begin at the main square and cycle west on Rua 1 de Maio. Continue to the roundabout and take the first exit onto Avenida da Independência. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Keep left to continue on Avenida da Independência, and cycle towards the junction with Rua de Dili. Once you reach this junction, turn right and follow Rua de Dili for about 1 kilometer. You will then reach a hill where you can park your bicycle and walk the remaining distance down to Tasi Tolu beach. The cycling journey should take around 30 minutes, and make sure to enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Hiking
For the adventurous, you can hike from Same to Tasi Tolu. Start from the local market in Same, heading west on Rua 1 de Maio. After about 500 meters, turn left at the roundabout onto Avenida da Independência. From there, hike approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road, keeping right towards Rua de Dili. Follow this road for 1 kilometer, noting the changing landscape. As you approach the hill, prepare for a steep ascent. Upon reaching the top, take a moment to enjoy the panoramic views before descending towards Tasi Tolu. The hike will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace, and will lead you to the serene beach area.
