Walking
From the center of Ha'ano, head west along the main road, which is called Ha'ano Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local houses and a few small shops along the way. Keep an eye out for local signage indicating directions to Ha'atafu Beach. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road; take the left path which will lead you towards the coastline. As you approach the beach, you will see the lush green trees and hear the sound of the waves. Continue until you reach the entrance to Ha'atafu Beach, which will be marked by a small path leading down to the sandy shore.
Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main square in Ha'ano and ride west on Ha'ano Road. Follow the same path as the walking route, but be cautious of any pedestrians and local traffic. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the fork in the road where you will take the left path towards the beach. The ride is relatively flat and scenic, making it a pleasant experience. Once you reach the beach entrance, park your bike at the designated area before heading down to the shore.
