Car
From Pitch Lake, head northwest on the Southern Main Road (Route 5) towards San Fernando. Continue for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Solomon Hochoy Highway (Route 2). Merge onto the Solomon Hochoy Highway heading north. After about 15 kilometers, take the exit toward the Priority Bus Route. Continue on the Priority Bus Route for about 11 kilometers until you reach the roundabout near the entrance to Port of Spain. Take the first exit onto the David Mc Gowan Highway. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, then turn right onto Wrightson Road. Continue straight until you reach the ferry terminal at M88Q+J47, Port of Spain. You can park your car at the terminal for a daily fee (approximately $10-$20 TTD). Once at the terminal, you will need to take a boat to Gasparee Caves, which typically costs around $100 TTD round trip.

Public Transportation
From Pitch Lake, take a local taxi (maxi taxi) heading towards San Fernando. The fare should be approximately $7 TTD. Once you arrive in San Fernando, transfer to a taxi heading to Port of Spain. This ride should cost around $15 TTD. Upon arriving in Port of Spain, make your way to the ferry terminal at M88Q+J47. You can ask locals for directions if needed. At the ferry terminal, purchase your round trip boat ticket to Gasparee Caves, which will cost around $100 TTD.
