From the center of Sangre Grande, head to the main bus terminal located on Eastern Main Road. Look for a minibus heading towards Las Cuevas Beach or any minibus that indicates it goes to the North Coast. The fare is usually around TT$10-15, and you will need to confirm with the driver if they stop at Las Cuevas Beach. Once on board, enjoy the scenic ride as the minibus takes you along the route. After approximately 30-40 minutes, ask the driver to let you off at Las Cuevas Beach. The beach is a short walk from the drop-off point.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from the center of Sangre Grande. Look for a taxi stand or ask locals for a nearby taxi. The driver will take you directly to Las Cuevas Beach. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey; it may range from TT$80-100. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Walking and Bus Combination
For the more adventurous, you can walk to the nearest bus stop along the Eastern Main Road and take a bus heading in the direction of Port of Spain. After about 15-20 minutes, you will need to get off at the Blanchisseuse junction. From there, you can catch a local taxi or minibus that will take you to Las Cuevas Beach. This journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Remember to ask the locals for directions if you're unsure; they're usually very helpful!
