If you are starting from the center of Göreme, head east on Uzundere Street towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the D302 highway. From there, turn left onto the highway, and you will see signs for Zelve Open Air Museum. It’s approximately 1.5 kilometers, which takes about 20-30 minutes to walk. Be cautious of traffic as you walk along the highway.

A dolmuş operates from Göreme to Avanos, and they frequently pass by Zelve Open Air Museum. Head to the dolmuş stop located near the center of Göreme, which is usually on the main road. Catch the dolmuş heading to Avanos and inform the driver you want to get off at Zelve. The fare is around 20-30 Turkish Lira. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, the museum entrance is just a short walk from the drop-off point.
