    Start at the central square in Göreme, which is located near the Göreme Open-Air Museum. From the square, head northeast on Müze Cd. towards Aydınlı Sk. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with İstiklal Cd. Turn left onto İstiklal Cd. and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafés along the way. Once you reach the end of İstiklal Cd., turn right onto the road leading to Çavuşin. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach Çavuşin village. Once you arrive in the village, follow the signs pointing towards 'St. John the Baptist Chapel.' The chapel is located at 2. Küme, Vadiler Sk. and is a short walk from the village center.

    From the central square in Göreme, walk to the nearest bus stop that serves the Avanos direction. Buses to Avanos regularly depart from this stop. Take a bus from Göreme to Avanos, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Avanos, exit the bus and head towards the Çavuşin direction. You can either choose to walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) or take a local dolmuş (shared taxi) that will take you closer to Çavuşin.
